Our skin is the most prominent part of our body. One can judge from hundreds of metres if you are white, black or brown. I am not saying that only those are beautiful who have white skin, there are many people in the world who are black or brown but are most beautiful people.

In this article my focus will be, how to cure your skin with simple home remedies.

Home Remedies to Improve Skin Color

There are many home remedies available, but my focus will be on proven and effective remedies.

1. Lemon

As we all know lemon is a bleaching agent. It helps a lot in cleaning our skin and giving a fair skin complexion.

If you are applying lemon juice first time on your skin, it is recommended to use it on a little part first to see if it cause any reaction or allergy. If nothing happens you can use the concentrated lemon juice on your skin but if your skin shows allergy to it then dilute it by adding some water to it.

You can also add lemon juice in the yogurt. Doing so also gives very good results. Apply it minimum 3 times a week and after 1 month you will see the results yourself. It gives you white and soft skin.

2. Drink Water

Water is also very essential for our body. It keeps our body hydrated which makes our skin to glow. Doctors recommend drinking of 2 to 5 litres of water daily. Water has many benefits, along with our skin it also washes the kidneys and due to which there is very low risk of getting kidney stones.

3. Fruits and Vegetables

Our body as well as our skin needs lots of vitamins. Fruits and vegetables are big sources of vitamins. One must eat them on regular basis for a shiny look in the skin.

Eat such fruits and vegetables also which produce blood, like:

  • Pomegranate
  • Carrots
  • Beetroot
  • Etc…

4. Avoid direct Sunlight

Sunlight darkens our skin, so it is advisable to avoid direct exposure to it. It activates the hormone called melanin in our body which darkens our skin color.

5. Take adequate Sleep

Along with all other things sleep is also very important. Our body needs rest, it is advisable to take a sleep of 6 to 8 hours daily. At some point, it also helps in improving our skin color.
